My name is Charlie Parent. I am a 20-year-old student journalist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I strive to work in the sports industry whether it’s communications, operations or reporting. As a national recruiting analyst, I’ve found passion in creating exposure for young athletes that don’t otherwise receive the media attention they deserve. Since August of 2023, I have worked for Wisconsin Athletics, covering, writing and posting for the communications department. During the Fall of 2024, I’ve primarily worked with the Badger football team. In my time with UW Athletics, I’ve covered live basketball, soccer, hockey, track & field and cross country events.
